Ethics
Confidentiality
AKRAB members must keep all information relating to the helping process in all aspects discussed confidential, except for disclosure in the best interest of the person being guided or when required by the service.
Terms and Conditions
AKRAB members must respect individual diversity and not discriminate against those being guided based on age, rank, physical disability, culture, religion, ethnicity, gender, marital status, or economic status.
Professional Relations
AKRAB members must strive to avoid overly close relationships with those being guided that could impair professional judgement, increase risk, or damage the image of the person being guided.
Referral to Psychology Officer
AKRAB members must make a referral to a more appropriate party, especially a Psychology Officer, if they recognise that their capacity to assist a colleague is limited.
