Division Functions :-

- Formulating strategies and implementing community development programmes in urban areas and traditional villages.

- Implementing the People's Well-being Programme (PKR).

- Coordinating and monitoring the achievements of the People's Well-being Programme (PKR).

- Rural Infrastructure.

- Implementing rural and traditional village infrastructure programmes.

- Creating viable villages in line with the Ministry's Desa Q objectives.

- Implementing the Hardcore Poor Housing Programme (PPRT) to help increase income.

- Planning and enhancing training and education activities for communities in urban areas and traditional villages to foster a knowledgeable society.

- Planning and implementing religious, social, cultural, recreational, and sports activities for residents.

- Encouraging and providing basic training for local residents in rural industries oriented towards local resources.

- Raising awareness so that every individual and target group can change attitudes, be enthusiastic, self-reliant, and interested in every community development programme.

- Designing courses / training and skills.

- Coordinating training and education programmes for residents and institutions including colleges, schools, NGOs, and others.

- Establishing and managing Rural Libraries.

- Establishing non-formal education such as kindergartens.
