Divisional Functions:

• Formulating, developing and periodically reviewing development policies and strategies for the KETENGAH region
• Identifying and planning the development of physical and economic infrastructure within the KETENGAH area
• Identifying and planning the development of residential areas, agricultural land, industrial zones and commercial centres within the KETENGAH region
• Preparing KETENGAH's 5-Year Budget Estimates and conducting mid-term reviews
• Identifying and planning all projects, programmes and activities related to community, social and institutional development within the KETENGAH territory
• Identifying and planning projects, programmes and activities under the Programme for the Development of the Poorest Communities (PPRT — Program Pembangunan Rakyat Termiskin)
• Identifying and planning land use and land requirements within the KETENGAH area in alignment with KETENGAH's development projects and programmes
• Conducting research and studies on agriculture, manpower, socioeconomic conditions, rural growth centre development, traditional villages, residential areas, industrial zones, commerce, tourism and urban development
• Conducting land use studies, urban physical development plans and growth centre planning within the KETENGAH territory
