Integrity Unit
The establishment of the Integrity Unit represents a further commitment by the government to cultivate a workforce of integrity, while simultaneously strengthening public confidence in the services delivered by public agencies, in accordance with Public Service Circular No. 6 of 2013: Establishment of Integrity Units in All Public Agencies.
KETENGAH's Integrity Unit was officially established on 1 January 2014, placed under the responsibility of the General Manager and supervised by the Administration and Human Resource Management Division.
Core Functions of the Integrity Unit
Governance : Ensuring the highest standards of governance are upheld and practised within the organisation.
Integrity Strengthening : Ensuring the cultivation, institutionalisation and implementation of integrity throughout the organisation.
Detection and Verification : Detecting and verifying complaints of criminal misconduct as well as violations of organisational conduct and ethics, and ensuring that appropriate follow-up action is taken.
Complaints Management : Receiving and acting upon all complaints and information pertaining to criminal misconduct and violations of organisational conduct and ethics.
Compliance : Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Discipline : Carrying out the secretariat functions of the Disciplinary Board.
