A ceremony to launch the KETENGAH Economic Project was held on 28 February 2013 at the Village Development and Safety Committee chairman’s house in Kampung Landas in conjunction with a visit by the Deputy Minister of Communications and Multimedia, Dato Jailani bin Johari. Accompanying him was Haji Wan Abdul Rahman bin Ahmad, KETENGAH Deputy General Manager of Operations. The KETENGAH Economic Project involving lemongrass and cassava cultivation had won the 2013 KETENGAH Region Best GDW Village Competition.
