VISIT BY SK DURIAN MAS 1 PRESCHOOL, BANDAR AL-MUKTAFI BILLAH SHAH, DUNGUN, TERENGGANU.

Bukit Besi Museum today received a study visit from SK Durian Mas 1 Preschool, Bandar Al-Muktafi Billah Shah, Dungun, Terengganu, involving a total of 25 participants, consisting of 20 students and five accompanying teachers, led by Puan Norazlen bt Nordin, Preschool Teacher at SK Durian Mas 1.
This visit aimed to provide early exposure to students regarding the history, heritage, and development of iron ore mining activities in Bukit Besi. Throughout the visit, students had the opportunity to view exhibits and historical collections displayed at the museum and listen to explanations related to the history of iron ore mining, which was once an important activity in the development of the Bukit Besi area.
Overall, the visit took place in a cheerful, organised, and conducive atmosphere, receiving good cooperation from the accompanying teachers. It is hoped that this visit will provide a meaningful learning experience for the students, while fostering interest and awareness from an early age in the importance of preserving, appreciating, and sustaining the history and heritage of Terengganu.
