The Farewell and Appreciation Ceremony was specially held to honour the retirement of 13 KETENGAH officers and staff, comprising 10 mandatory/optional retirees and 3 individuals who passed away before completing their service with KETENGAH. The ceremony took place at Balai Orang Ramai (BALORA), Bandar Al Muktafi Billah Shah, Dungun, Terengganu.

In his speech, YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH, said, “Today is a special day, not only because we are gathered to celebrate retirees who have made extraordinary contributions to this organisation, but also to remind us of the journey filled with sacrifice, hard work, and dedication they have given throughout their service at KETENGAH.” He added, “Those we honour today are not merely respected colleagues but role models who continue to inspire us, especially the younger generation. Their competence, commitment, and resilience in facing challenges throughout their careers serve as the best example for us all.”

The ceremony was also attended by members of the KETENGAH Retirees Association and was further enlivened by a debut performance from the acoustic group “Medali Jiwa”, made up of KETENGAH officers and staff.

May this retirement bring happiness, good health, and many meaningful new experiences. Congratulations on your retirement, and the highest appreciation and heartfelt thanks for your service and contributions in advancing public service at KETENGAH.

As we gaze upon the open sea,

We see boats sailing upstream,

Hearts remember and lips recall,

Kind deeds cherished forever within.

Jasmine and basil bloom in grace,

Basil growing in the garden fair,

A farewell filled with love and praise,

Precious memories beyond compare.
