PENGKALAN GAWI, HULU TERENGGANU — KETENGAH continues its regular monitoring of the construction of the Public Mini Park at Gawi Point, Tasik Kenyir, to ensure the project remains on track in terms of scope, quality, cost, and implementation period towards full completion in September 2026.

The monitoring was carried out through the Site Visit for Implementation and Monitoring of Development Project No. 17/2026, which took place today, led by KETENGAH Deputy General Manager (Development), Tuan Haji Mohd Radzi bin Md. Noor.

Such visits are one of KETENGAH's monitoring mechanisms to ensure that every development project is implemented according to the planned schedule and established standards.

This project is part of KETENGAH's continuous efforts to strengthen tourism infrastructure in Tasik Kenyir. Once completed, the area is expected to serve as a more conducive recreational and stopover space for visitors, thus becoming a new attraction that highlights the beauty of the area and adds value to the Tasik Kenyir tourism sector.

The project, which began in March 2025, is scheduled for full completion in September 2026.
