14 June 2026 – A total of 30 KETENGAH officers and staff attended the Emceeing Course for KETENGAH Officers and Staff 2026 held at Bukit Besi Golf Club, Dungun. This course aimed to improve communication skills, public speaking, and event management among KETENGAH employees.

The course was conducted by Tuan Haji Shahril bin Sarapudin, an experienced Master Trainer from IKON Academy, who is also a Programme Producer (Talk Show Unit) at Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM). He shared various knowledge and techniques related to professional, effective, and high-impact event emceeing.

Throughout the course, participants were exposed to various important aspects of emceeing, including script preparation, appropriate language use, effective voice control techniques, intonation and pronunciation, professional body language, and methods for confidently and systematically managing formal and informal events.

In addition to theoretical sessions, participants were also given the opportunity to conduct practical exercises to apply the skills learned. This approach allowed participants to gain direct experience in managing events, handling unexpected situations, and increasing their self-confidence when speaking in front of an audience.

The organisation of this course is in line with KETENGAH's efforts to strengthen the competency of its workforce in communication and information delivery. Good emceeing skills are not only important in ensuring the smooth running of an event but also help to enhance the professional image of the organisation in every programme and activity implemented.

Through this course, participants are expected to utilise the knowledge gained to apply in their daily tasks and become skilled, competent, and highly confident emcees. Indirectly, this effort will contribute to improving the quality of service delivery and strengthening KETENGAH's image as an organisation consistently committed to excellent human capital development.
