BANDAR AL-MUKTAFI BILLAH SHAH, DUNGUN — KETENGAH brought together 64 teams in the Al-Muktafi Billah Shah Double Open Petanque and VIP Invitational Tournament 2026, organised in collaboration with Bank Rakyat at the Petanque Court, Bandar Al-Muktafi Billah Shah Sports Complex, on June 12.

The open category tournament, which involved teams from various areas, saw team SMD 7 emerge as champions, taking home the main prize of RM1,000, while FELDA 3 secured the runner-up position. KETENGAH 1 and BBP shared third place.

For the VIP category, the KETENGAH team emerged victorious when the pairing of Tuan Haji Mohd Radzi bin Md Noor, Deputy General Manager (Development), and Tuan Haji Abdul Halim bin Yusof, Manager of the Administration and Human Resources Division, defeated the Bank Rakyat team in the final match. The opening ceremony of the tournament was officiated by YBhg. Dato' Rozi bin Mamat, Chairman of KETENGAH.

In his speech, he expressed his appreciation to all parties who committed to making the tournament a success, while also emphasising that sports are an effective medium to strengthen relationships, foster cooperation, and enhance networking among agencies. The prize-giving ceremony for the winners was officiated by YM Dato' Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH.

KETENGAH congratulates all winners and participants who demonstrated sportsmanship throughout the tournament. KETENGAH hopes that similar events can be continued in the future to cultivate public interest in petanque, while strengthening cooperation between agencies and the community, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
