9 SEPTEMBER 2026 – KETENGAH, through Yayasan KETENGAH, continues to strengthen its commitment to community care through the Love Visit Programme for Bedridden Patients in Bandar Bukit Besi, as one of its welfare initiatives to help those in need in the KETENGAH region.

YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH, together with KETENGAH management, visited and cared for five bedridden patients around Bandar Bukit Besi.

Also present at the programme was YBrs. Dr. Kamal Jaffry bin Talib, who provided health examinations to the recipients. Puan Nopisah binti Harun, Chairperson of Pertubuhan Perkumpulan Perempuan (WI) Bukit Besi, and local leaders were also in attendance.

This programme also involved the distribution of aid such as walking sticks, wheelchairs, beds, and medical assistance according to the recipients' needs. This contribution is hoped to help alleviate the burden and improve the comfort of recipients and their families in their daily lives.

Among the recipients visited were Encik Ariffin bin Ismail, who received a walking stick; Encik Ibrahim bin Abdul Rahman, who received a wheelchair; and Puan Salmah binti Abdullah, who received a bed. Meanwhile, Puan Zahrah binti Tok and Puan Siti Timah binti Mamat also received medical assistance.

This Love Visit Programme reflects KETENGAH's concern for community welfare, especially for bedridden patients and families who need support and attention. Besides providing aid, this programme also serves as a platform for KETENGAH to engage directly with the community, identify their needs, and ensure that the welfare and well-being of the community in the KETENGAH region continue to receive attention.
