The KETENGAH Family Club organised a Bayanul I’lm Programme (Knowledge Sharing) titled “Self-Reflection (Muhasabah Diri)”. The session was delivered by the renowned national independent speaker, Ustaz Ahmad Rizam bin Ghazali.

During his talk, Ustaz Ahmad Rizam shared:

"Do not engage in wrongdoing at work, do not falsify overtime, and do not misuse MC leave. Remember, there are angels recording our deeds, and Allah will distance Himself from those who act wrongly. Wealth acquired through dishonest means will be lost in old age, believe me."

He continued, "Allah never abandons us. Return to Allah and seek His mercy. Whatever our problems—be it financial, family-related, work-related, or betrayal by others—bring them to Allah in prayer."

Among his other reminders, he said:

"Indeed, Allah’s mercy is very close to the righteous. Therefore, be righteous. The closest a servant can be to Allah is during the last part of the night. Rise, prostrate, and pray to Allah at this time; it is when you are truly near Him. Why should we be close to Allah? Because it brings peace, happiness, solutions to problems, and a life full of blessings."

He also emphasised the importance of constant self-reflection (muhasabah diri).

It is hoped that through programmes like this, KETENGAH personnel can better understand religious guidance and apply it in their daily work as public servants.

Our gratitude also goes to Ustaz Ahmad Rizam bin Ghazali for accepting the invitation and sharing his valuable insights with us.
