NATURE EXPLORATION PROGRAMME TO SUNGAI PERTANG STRENGTHENS CAMARADERIE AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CULTURE

HULU DUNGUN, July 4, 2026 – A total of 31 participants joined the Nature Exploration Programme to Sungai Pertang, Hulu Dungun, which took place over three days and two nights from July 2 to 4, 2026. The programme, organised by the 3K Club Sports and Recreation Bureau in collaboration with the Central Terengganu Development Board (KETENGAH), aimed to strengthen camaraderie and promote a healthy lifestyle among staff.
This programme, conceptualised around recreation and appreciation of nature, brought together participants from various departments to enjoy the experience of exploring the serene forest atmosphere and pristine environment. Such activities not only provide an opportunity for participants to take a break from daily work routines but also enhance physical and mental well-being through outdoor engagement.
The organisation of this programme is in line with the objectives of the 3K Club Sports and Recreation Bureau in cultivating an active and healthy lifestyle among KETENGAH staff. Additionally, this programme serves as an excellent platform to strengthen the spirit of togetherness and foster cooperation among participants. The relaxed atmosphere outside the office environment allows staff to interact more cordially, thereby creating closer relationships and enhancing teamwork in carrying out tasks at work.
Furthermore, this programme also raises awareness about the importance of preserving and appreciating the environment. The beauty of the flora and fauna in the Sungai Pertang area provides participants with the opportunity to appreciate the uniqueness of nature, thus fostering a sense of responsibility in efforts to preserve environmental sustainability for the well-being of future generations.
The Nature Exploration Programme to Sungai Pertang concluded successfully, leaving meaningful experiences for each participant. It is hoped that similar programmes will continue to be organised in the future as a medium to strengthen brotherhood, enhance the well-being of staff, and support KETENGAH's aspirations in producing a healthy, productive, competitive organisational workforce that always appreciates the treasures of nature.
