August is not merely a historical symbol commemorating the nation’s independence, but also a reminder of the sacrifices made by past generations who struggled to free our homeland from colonial rule.

Certainly, the responsibility of today’s generation is to continue this legacy of independence by strengthening the spirit of cooperation, mutual respect, unity, and the preservation of peace. Symbolically, August becomes the most vibrant month with unity-based activities that foster harmony among Malaysia’s multiracial society.

Therefore, in nurturing a manifestation of love for the nation and the spirit of struggle inherited from earlier generations, the Rukun Tetangga Area (KRT) of Taman Selesa, in collaboration with the Terengganu State Department of National Unity and Integration (JPNIN), KETENGAH, the Terengganu State Information Department, and the AMBS Rukun Tetangga network, organised the Madani Jalur Gemilang Presentation Programme to all KRTs in AMBS. The programme was held at the KRT Taman Selesa Community Centre (PUSKOM), Bandar AMBS, on 19 August 2025.

The programme, held in conjunction with the 68th National Independence Month Celebration, was officiated by YBhg. Encik Mohd Rosli Alias, Director of the Terengganu State JPNIN, and attended by approximately 100 members of the KRT network around Bandar AMBS. Also present were Encik Sait Yaman, Director of the Terengganu State Information Department; Encik Zainuddin Haji Mohd Zaki, Deputy General Manager (Development) of KETENGAH and Chairman of KRT Taman Selesa; and Tuan Haji Mohd Radzi Mohd Noor, Property and Local Authority Manager.

The programme concluded with the presentation of the Jalur Gemilang to all KRT chairpersons around Bandar AMBS, which is expected to further ignite the patriotic spirit among the local community as the national flag will soon fly proudly at their homes, adding cheer to the National Independence Month celebrations.
