KETENGAH Strengthens Regional Sewerage System Planning Through Strategic Collaboration with JPP, SPAN, and IWK

KETENGAH held a Coordination Meeting and Site Visit with the Sewerage Services Department (JPP), led by the Director of JPP's Strategic Planning Division, Encik Kasri bin Abd Ghani, with the participation of representatives from the National Water Services Commission (SPAN) and Indah Water Konsortium (IWK).
The programme, which took place from 27 to 29 October 2026, aimed to discuss the proposed implementation of the Sewerage System Master Plan Study in the KETENGAH Region. Throughout the programme, discussions and site visits were conducted to examine the current situation, identify needs, and evaluate aspects related to the sewerage system at the involved locations. This session also served as a platform for information and technical input sharing among agencies to ensure that the study planning could be implemented comprehensively, systematically, and effectively.
The summary session of the visit was also attended by Tuan Haji Mohd Radzi bin Md Noor, KETENGAH Deputy General Manager (Development). The strategic collaboration between KETENGAH, JPP, SPAN, and IWK reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the planning and development of more efficient and sustainable sewerage infrastructure. This initiative is also in line with efforts to improve environmental quality, strengthen basic amenities, and ensure the well-being of residents in the KETENGAH Region.
It is hoped that the implementation of this study will produce a comprehensive master plan as a strategic guide for the development of a more planned, effective sewerage system that meets the future development needs of the KETENGAH Region.
