World Cleanup Day is a global initiative observed simultaneously in 180 countries every September. The campaign aims to raise public awareness on the importance of environmental cleanliness and to promote community collaboration in tackling pollution issues.

In Malaysia, the event is known as Hari Cuci Malaysia (HCM) and was held on 27 September 2025, conducted simultaneously across all states. KETENGAH also organised celebrations across its municipalities, involving participation from officers and staff. YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH, joined the programme in support of the initiative.

The activities not only help reduce waste pollution but also foster environmental awareness within the community. Through teamwork and collective consciousness, we can leave a cleaner and greener world for future generations.
