KETENGAH PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO FLOOD VICTIMS

A total of 506 flood victims from 115 families were accommodated at 8 Temporary Evacuation Centres (PPS) in the KETENGAH region as of 12:00 noon, following the second wave of floods affecting several areas in the Dungun and Kemaman districts.
As a gesture of concern for the welfare of the local community, YBrs. Dr. Mohd Zaki bin Haji Salleh, representing KETENGAH Chairman, YBhg. Dato’ Rozi bin Mamat, delivered 84 disaster relief kits to the affected flood victims. Also present was Puan Zulita binti Mohamed, Manager of KETENGAH’s Strategic Planning Division.
The relief kits contained essential items such as dry food, towels, and personal hygiene supplies and were distributed to residents at the PPS Dewan Orang Ramai Kampung Air Putih, Kemaman. This initiative reflects KETENGAH’s commitment to alleviating the burden of victims and providing support during this challenging period.
