The second wave of flooding in the KETENGAH region forced residents of Kampung Pasir Raja to evacuate to the Temporary Evacuation Centre (PPS) at Dewan Orang Ramai Kampung Pasir Raja. A total of 102 people from 33 families sought shelter at the PPS to ensure their safety.

As a gesture of concern and commitment to the community during times of hardship, KETENGAH distributed disaster relief kits to the affected victims. This assistance aims to ease the burden of those facing challenging conditions due to the disaster.

Encik Shamsul Kamal bin Mohd Amin, Head of the Integrity Unit at KETENGAH, handed over the aid symbolically to Encik Adnan bin Apil, Chairman of the Village Federal Safety and Management Committee (JPKKP) Kampung Pasir Raja.

Also present was YDH Supt. Maizura binti Abdul Kadir, District Police Chief of Dungun, who took the time to visit the PPS and provide support to the affected residents.

KETENGAH and the relevant government agencies will continue to work diligently to ensure the welfare and safety of the community throughout the disaster recovery period.
