KETENGAH STRENGTHENS CULTURE OF IMPACTFUL AND ACCOUNTABLE WORK

DUNGUN, July 26, 2026 – KETENGAH continues to strengthen its work culture based on impact and accountability through a mandate delivered during the 3rd KETENGAH Monthly Assembly held at Balai Orang Ramai (BALORA) today.
The assembly, which gathered all KETENGAH officers and staff as well as its subsidiaries, began with the singing of Negaraku and KETENGAH Bersama Membangun, followed by a prayer recitation and a Hadith appreciation presented by the Deputy General Manager (Operations) of KETENGAH, Tuan Haji Mahdi Amin bin Ahmad. A video showcasing KETENGAH's activities and achievements from May to July 2026 was also screened.
Speaking at the event, KETENGAH General Manager, YM Dato' Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, stated that the organisation has now entered the middle of the year, making it an opportune time to re-evaluate the achievements and effectiveness of planned programmes and initiatives.
He said that the Mid-Term Review directed by YAB Deputy Prime Minister cum Minister of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) at the ministry level can serve as a guide for KETENGAH in comprehensively assessing the organisation's performance.
According to him, the review is not merely to assess the level of programme implementation, but also serves as a reflection of KETENGAH's effectiveness as a Regional Development Agency in ensuring that every policy, project, and initiative implemented achieves its objectives and benefits the people.
At the same time, he urged all KETENGAH personnel to embrace the recommendations of YAB Deputy Prime Minister and KKDW Minister for the organisation to shift from a culture of compliance to a culture of impact, and from a culture of activity to a culture of accountability.
He emphasised that every employee needs to focus on the outcomes of a programme, not just fulfilling implementation requirements. "Our success is no longer measured by the number of programmes implemented, but by how much these programmes truly impact the people. Similarly, we cannot just carry out tasks to fulfil instructions; instead, we must be accountable for the results achieved," he said.
He also reminded that a work culture prioritising integrity, professionalism, efficiency, and accountability must continue to be strengthened to ensure that every initiative implemented can contribute to the sustainable socioeconomic development of the KETENGAH Region.
