The Central Terengganu Development Authority (KETENGAH), as the implementing agency under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW), successfully organised the Rural Youth Character Excellence Aspiration Program (Asy-Syabab 5.0) for the Human Capital Development Program (PBI) in the KETENGAH region for 2025. The program aims to empower rural youth by strengthening their self-identity, character, leadership, and communication skills necessary to face future challenges.

The three-day program, held from 18 to 20 December 2025, was conducted by Al Fateh Training & Consultant. During the program, participants engaged in various key activities, including the Self-Identity & Character Strengthening Slot, which emphasised the development of integrity and exemplary personal character, and the Leadership and Communication Skills Module, aimed at enhancing leadership quality and interaction skills. In addition, participants were introduced to the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (T-VET), delivered by Kolej Ketengah.

Participants also had the opportunity to take part in an Educational Visit to DRB-HICOM University, gaining exposure to campus environments and available higher education opportunities.

The closing ceremony and certificate presentation were officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Haji Rozi bin Mamat, Chairman of KETENGAH. Also present were YM. Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH, and YBrs. Encik Faizol bin Abd Aziz, Manager of Community and Social Development.

The organisation of Asy-Syabab 5.0 reflects KETENGAH’s ongoing commitment to providing the best platform to develop competent, competitive, and highly skilled human capital for the sustainable progress and development of the region.
