INSPECTION VISIT AND PRE-HANDOVER OF SMART AND ENERGY-EFFICIENT LIGHTING PROJECT CONTRACTOR WORKS, DUNGUN DISTRICT

AL MUKTAFI BILLAH SHAH — A total of 34 new solar streetlights have been installed in three main zones within the KETENGAH Region, Dungun District, through the Smart and Energy-Efficient Lighting Project, which is now entering its pre-handover stage.
The installations include 15 units in the Ketengah Jaya Zone around Bandar Ketengah Jaya and Kg. Durian Mentangau, 11 units in the Bandar Al Muktafi Billah Shah Zone around the town, and 8 units in the Bukit Besi Zone covering Kg. Minda, Kg. Lubuk Panjang, and Bandar Bukit Besi.
An inspection and pre-handover visit was held on July 14 to ensure that all installation works meet the specified specifications and quality standards before the project is fully handed over.
This project covers major towns and traditional villages within the KETENGAH Region, thereby expanding public lighting coverage to a wider residential area.
The installation of these solar streetlights provides comfort and enhances the safety of residents at night, while supporting smart infrastructure initiatives and energy-efficient usage in the KETENGAH Region.
