DUNGUN, 16 September 2026 – KETENGAH remains committed to supporting the implementation of community programs that involve active participation from communities in the KETENGAH Region, in an effort to strengthen neighbourly spirit, unity, and community harmony.

The Merdeka Unity Park “Rumahku Syurgaku” @KETENGAH 2026 Program is a joint initiative by the Neighbourhood Watch (KRT) in Bandar Al Muktafi Billah Shah (AMBS), involving the participation of six KRTs in the AMBS Zone, in collaboration with relevant government departments and agencies.

The program, which began in June 2026, is carried out alternately in each housing estate through various community activities, including gotong-royong (communal work) to clean the surrounding areas and tree-cutting work that poses a risk to residents' safety.

As the culmination of the program, the Closing Ceremony of the Merdeka Unity Park “Rumahku Syurgaku” @KETENGAH 2026 Program was held on 16 September 2026, in conjunction with Malaysia Day celebrations. The ceremony was also enlivened with various activities involving the local community, including Traditional Sports, Patriotic Song Singing, Garden Cheerfulness and Home Yard Cleanliness Competitions, and telematch.

The closing ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Encik Mohd Rosli bin Alias, Director of the National Unity and Integration Department of Terengganu.

Also present were YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH; YBrs. Encik Zainuddin bin Haji Md. Zaki, Chairman of the Merdeka Unity Park “Rumahku Syurgaku” @KETENGAH 2026 Program; and YBrs. Encik Zaki bin Saman, Program Coordinator.
