Rural Digital Workforce (RDW) Programme

The Rural Digital Workforce (RDW) Programme is one of the Game Changer initiatives by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW), implemented in collaboration with the Central Terengganu Development Authority (KETENGAH).
Through this programme, 10 potential youths have been identified to undergo foundational training aimed at developing a competitive digital workforce in rural areas.
The programme was conducted on 13 and 14 October 2025 at the Co-working Space, PKD AMBS, Terengganu. It also received strategic support from the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) to strengthen the capabilities of rural youth in pursuing digital employment opportunities.
Over a six-month period, participants will engage in both physical and online learning sessions under the guidance of certified instructors from MDEC. The training focuses on developing digital skills to enable participants to work independently as self-employed professionals.
As recognition of their commitment and achievements, each participant will receive a Certificate of Participation upon completing the programme.
