HAPPY 53RD ANNIVERSARY OF KETENGAH'S ESTABLISHMENT

Today, April 12, 2026, marks the 53rd anniversary of KETENGAH's establishment. 53 years is a long and meaningful period in demonstrating commitment, struggle, and dedicated service to the community. Throughout more than five decades of its establishment, KETENGAH has carved its own history as a regional development agency that plays a crucial role in driving progress, improving the well-being of the people, and developing areas in a planned and comprehensive manner.
Since its incorporation on April 12, 1973, through Act of Parliament No. 104/73, KETENGAH has not only been a driver of physical development but also an initiator of economic, social, and human capital development. Various efforts implemented have brought significant changes to the lives of the community, especially in areas that have benefited from the planning and implementation of regional development programs in the five (5) townships created. From wilderness areas, the establishment of five (5) new planned towns has successfully boosted economic and social activities.
Throughout this period, KETENGAH has proven that meticulously planned and continuously implemented development can have a significant impact on the people. The construction of infrastructure, infostructure, provision of basic facilities, implementation of economic programs, and community development initiatives are among the important contributions that have helped improve the standard of living of the community. More proudly, KETENGAH also plays a role in opening up space and opportunities for the people to continue to progress, be self-reliant, and competitive in facing current challenges.
The success achieved over these 53 years certainly did not come easily. It is the result of the commitment, dedication, and cooperation of various parties, including the leadership, staff, government agencies, local leaders, and the local community. Every plan initiated and every effort implemented is a manifestation of KETENGAH's high commitment to tirelessly serve for the well-being of the people and the progress of the region.
