KETENGAH Region Celebrates Maulidur Rasul 1447H/2025M with Grandeur

The Maulidur Rasul celebration for the KETENGAH region 1447H/2025M was held with great enthusiasm, attracting participation from various segments of the community.
The parade commenced at Masjid Sultan Mahmud, Bandar Al Muktafi Billah Shah (AMBS) and concluded at Balai Orang Ramai (BALORA), covering a distance of 4 kilometres. This year, 35 teams participated in the parade across three categories: JPKKP/Community Residents, SMK/SRK/Tahfiz Schools, and Agencies/Farms/Companies.
The programme served as a platform to reflect upon the significant event of the birth of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W, a noble figure whose life continues to illuminate the path for Muslims. Additionally, the celebration aimed to foster unity, strengthen harmony, and enhance relations between KETENGAH and the local community in support of rural development.
YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH, expressed appreciation to all parties involved, including departments and agencies, JPKKP, schools, subsidiaries, officers and staff of KETENGAH, as well as the residents of the region.
“This celebration is hoped to serve as a platform to strengthen the bond between KETENGAH and the local community, while reinforcing the spirit of togetherness in realising the Ummah Madani development agenda,” he said. He also encouraged the community to renew their commitment to emulate the character of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W, thereby contributing to the success of the Gagasan Ummah Madani initiative.
Joy was evident on the faces of all participating contingents when the General Manager announced an increase in prize money: first place rose from RM700 to RM1,000, second place from RM500 to RM700, and third place from RM300 to RM500. This increase reflects KETENGAH’s care and appreciation for the teamwork and dedication demonstrated by all participants throughout the programme.
Congratulations to all winners, and sincere thanks to everyone who worked tirelessly to make this programme a success.
