Today, Lembaga Kemajuan Terengganu Tengah (KETENGAH) and Koperasi Peserta-Peserta FELCRA Malaysia Berhad (KPFB) officially signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC), marking a strategic partnership across multiple sectors.

The signing ceremony was held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur, witnessed by the Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development, YB Datuk Hajah Rubiah binti Haji Wang, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development and Chairman of KETENGAH, YBhg. Datuk Muhd Khair Razman bin Mohamed Annuar, and KPFB Chairman, YBhg. Dato’ Haji Sabari bin Misran.

The collaboration covers plantation, manufacturing, livestock, aquaculture, and basic agriculture, expected to stimulate comprehensive rural economic growth. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to empower rural communities through strategic networks between development agencies and cooperative entities.

During the same event, YB Datuk Hajah Rubiah also launched the i-Mesra digital platform, a technological initiative aimed at enhancing the welfare of rural residents through improved access to digital services.

The event also highlighted the awarding of the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) to the Mega 3D Carnival (MK3D) 2025, recognized as the largest entrepreneurship exhibition in the country. MK3D combines three major events: Karnival Usahawan Desa (KUD), FELDA Settlers’ Day (HPF), and One District One Industry Showcase (SDSI).

This recognition reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening the rural entrepreneurship ecosystem and acting as a catalyst for the local community economy under the Desaku Mendunia initiative.

YB Datuk Hajah Rubiah was also guided through KETENGAH entrepreneurs’ exhibition booths, accompanied by YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, KETENGAH General Manager.
