16 July 2026 – Another nature-based tourism product in Tasik Kenyir has been introduced through the Opening of the Tasik Kenyir Recreational Vehicle (RV) & Glamping Site, managed by Koperasi Serbaniaga Tasik Kenyir as the site's operating manager.

The opening ceremony was officiated by YM Tengku Mahri bin Tengku Chik, Member of the KETENGAH Board of Directors. He was accompanied by Encik Hasri bin Omar, Senior Manager (Corporate) of KETENGAH, along with KETENGAH officers.

The opening of the Tasik Kenyir RV & Glamping Site is a strategic step in expanding the tourism products available in Tasik Kenyir, especially in the recreational tourism and nature-based accommodation segments. This accommodation concept offers a closer experience with the beauty of nature and thus meets the demands of tourists who are increasingly inclined towards outdoor recreational activities and ecotourism-based holidays.

The existence of this RV & Glamping Site is expected to further complete the tourism ecosystem in Tasik Kenyir by offering more diverse accommodation options and meeting the needs of various categories of tourists. In addition, the opening of this site is expected to be a catalyst for community economic development and support the government's aspirations in empowering the national tourism sector.
