Youth Energize the Merdeka Journey of the Madani Community in the KETENGAH Region

The Merdeka Journey of the Madani Community in the KETENGAH Region was celebrated enthusiastically as part of the 2025 National Month festivities. This program aligns with this year’s theme, “Malaysia Madani: Caring for the People”, which emphasizes unity, collective strength, and patriotism.
The motorcycle convoy began at Bandar Ceneh Baharu, Kemaman, and concluded at Pengkalan Gawi, Tasik Kenyir, Hulu Terengganu. Along the route, participants stopped at four locations — Masjid Kampung Padang Kubu, Bandar Al Muktafi Billah Shah, Masjid Kampung Pela, and Surau Kampung Basung — to perform the Zohor prayers.
At each stop, a symbolic Jalur Gemilang (Malaysian flag) was handed over to the Chairperson of the Federal Village Development and Security Committee (JPKKP) to promote patriotism among the local community.
In Bandar Al Muktafi Billah Shah, various activities were organized, including free motorcycle oil changes, fun sports events, and a slow motorcycle riding competition, which received enthusiastic participation from the youth.
The program served as an excellent platform to instill love for the country, particularly among young people and rural communities in the KETENGAH region, while strengthening the sense of togetherness between the local communities and KETENGAH.
The closing ceremony was officiated by Yang Mulia Tengku Haphiz bin Tengku Putera, Chairperson of the Eastern Zone TVET Coordination, and attended by Tuan Haji Ahmad Fakaruddin bin Ahmad, Deputy General Manager (Operations) of KETENGAH.
Congratulations to Encik Ismail bin Zakaria from Bandar Ceneh Baharu, Kemaman, who won the grand prize in the lucky draw — a branded helmet.
The success of the program was made possible through close collaboration with the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), Civil Defence Force (APM), and local leaders.
