The Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) will organize the KKDW Quality and Innovation Awards 2024, which is one of the annual components of the Ministry’s Innovation Program, in addition to the Innovation Day scheduled for November 2024.

There are seven (7) award categories to be contested this year, one of which is the KKDW Public Service Innovation Award (Technical) 2024, for which KKDW has appointed KETENGAH as the secretariat and subcommittee.

KETENGAH welcomes the trust entrusted by KKDW and is committed to delivering the best for the Ministry and all parties involved in the implementation of innovation initiatives. Therefore, the final presentation session for the KKDW Public Service Innovation Award (Technical) 2024 was held on 5 September 2024 at Raia Hotel & Convention Centre, Kuala Terengganu.

This final innovation presentation session involved 11 entries from agencies under KKDW. The event was officiated by Tuan Haji Ahmad Fakaruddin bin Ahmad, Deputy General Manager (Operations). Also present were Encik Hasri bin Omar, Manager of Administration and Human Resource Management, and Encik Mohd Hafiz bin Ahmad, Free Zone Manager.

The judging panel comprised Chief Evaluator Puan Wan Suraya binti Sahabaludin from the Shah Alam City Council, Encik Mohamad Shahruzuan bin Shamsudin, second evaluator from the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Putrajaya, and Encik Hilman bin Hajijan, third evaluator from the Terengganu State Secretary’s Office (Corporate Unit).

The final results for all contested awards will be announced by KKDW at the climax of the Innovation Program in November 2024.
