KETENGAH Family and Community Well-being Workshop (BERKAT 2.0) for Integrated Village Economic Development Project (PROSPEK) Participants, Kemaman, KETENGAH Region 2025

KETENGAH, through its Community and Social Development Division and Economy and Entrepreneurship Division, successfully implemented the KETENGAH Family and Community Well-being Workshop (BERKAT 2.0) involving participants of the Integrated Village Economic Development Project (PROSPEK) in the Kemaman area of the KETENGAH region.
A total of 28 participants attended the programme, which was held at The Qamar Hotel, Paka, Dungun, Terengganu from 29 May 2025 (Thursday) to 31 May 2025 (Saturday). The workshop was conducted by the appointed consultant, Al Fateh Training and Consultant.
Among the topics covered throughout the workshop were self-potential development, basic entrepreneurship, online business, self-management and communication, as well as group activities including light recreational sessions.
The closing ceremony was officiated by YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH, who also presented certificates of participation to the participants. In his speech, YM Dato’ said, “This workshop was designed not only to provide basic entrepreneurial knowledge, but also to focus on character building, family values and enhancing self-confidence. We do not merely aim to produce small-scale entrepreneurs, but rather to nurture self-reliant, innovative communities with clear life direction.”
He also expressed pride in the participation of individuals from a wide age range, from 18 to 78 years old, and congratulated all participants and organisers for the successful implementation of the programme.
Awang Besar @ Bakar bin Muda @ Salleh from Kampung Teladas was the oldest participant at 78 years old. He is currently managing a two-acre Tacunan coconut plantation and said, “I gained many new insights from this workshop, especially in the aspects of self-management and financial management.”
Also present at the ceremony were YBrs. Encik Faizol bin Abd Aziz, Manager of Community and Social Development; YBrs. Encik Mohd Faiq bin Mohd Abd Majid, Manager of Economy and Entrepreneurship; and YBrs. Tuan Haji Ahmad Najib bin Ibrahim, Managing Director of Al Fateh Training and Consultant.
It is hoped that this programme will enhance participants’ knowledge, experience and added value, helping them to improve their livelihoods while further strengthening the economy and food security within the region.
