The Kenyir Geopark Festival 2025, held over three days from 30 October to 1 November 2025 at Pulau Poh, Tasik Kenyir, concluded with grandeur through the highlight event, the Fiesta D’Kenyir Concert, featuring a lineup of popular national artists and receiving overwhelming support from attendees.

This year’s festival achieved remarkable success, attracting 70,850 visitors, surpassing the initial target of 60,000. Official sales amounted to RM3,341,649.37, far exceeding the original target of RM1.2 million.

The festival was officially launched on 30 October 2025 by YB Datuk Hajah Rubiah binti Haji Wang, Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW). Organized by the Lembaga Kemajuan Terengganu Tengah (KETENGAH) in collaboration with KKDW and the Terengganu State Government, the festival served as a key platform to empower rural entrepreneurs, strengthen local economic networks, and promote Tasik Kenyir as a leading nature-based and geopark tourism destination in the region.

Over the three-day celebration, a wide array of exciting activities were held, including Kenyir Bermunajat, Dikir Barat Competitions, Gamelan Music Competitions, D’Kenyir Cultural Dance, Fun Run, Kenyir Open Water Challenge, Coloring Competitions, Eco-Talk Programs, E-Sport Events, Traditional and Water Sports, Facebook and TikTok Challenges, and Bike Meet, attracting participants from all walks of life. Additionally, the festival featured exhibitions by agencies, private sector participants, NGOs, and local assets, rural entrepreneur sales, Rahmah Sales, cultural performances, traditional cooking demonstrations, and interactive activities that enriched the lively atmosphere at Pulau Poh. The most anticipated highlight among visitors was the daily lucky draw, with the grand prize of a 5-gram gold bar, alongside various electrical appliances.

The success of the Kenyir Geopark Festival 2025 reflects not only sales and exhibitions but also a continued commitment to advancing the Malaysia MADANI agenda, strengthening rural tourism and community development.
