KETENGAH Petanque Team Wins Championship at 2nd Edition UiTM Open Team and International Invitational Petanque Championship

Kuala Lumpur, June 21, 2026 – The KETENGAH Petanque Team achieved a proud success by winning the 2nd Edition UiTM Open Team and International Invitational Petanque Championship held at the Pudu Ulu Petanque Arena, Kuala Lumpur from June 20 to 21, 2026.
The prestigious championship brought together more than 60 teams from across the country as well as several invited teams competing in a spirit of sportsmanship, thus becoming an important platform to strengthen the development and promote the sport of petanque at national and international levels.
KETENGAH sent two teams comprising 12 players, with each team consisting of six participants. The KETENGAH contingent's participation was led by Encik Nor Azriman bin Ab. Aziz, who played a crucial role in coordinating and guiding the team throughout the championship.
The success in emerging as champions proves the high commitment, team spirit, discipline, and determination shown by each player in facing competition from other teams. This achievement not only brought honour to KETENGAH but also serves as proof that continuous efforts in encouraging employee participation in sports activities can produce competitive and excellent athletes.
In addition to being a competition arena, this championship also provided an opportunity for participants to strengthen camaraderie, share experiences, and foster noble values such as cooperation, integrity, and sportsmanship among all involved parties.
