SIX STUDENTS RECEIVE KETENGAH FOUNDATION EDUCATION CONTRIBUTIONS

June 30, 2026 – A total of six students received Education Contributions from Yayasan KETENGAH (KETENGAH Foundation) in a handover ceremony held at KETENGAH Headquarters, Bandar Al Muktafi Billah Shah, today.
The contributions were presented by KETENGAH Chairman, YBhg. Dato’ Rozi bin Mamat, along with KETENGAH General Manager, YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, as an effort to help alleviate the financial burden of families whose children are pursuing higher education.
One of the recipients, Encik Rosdi bin Razak, who works as a plantation worker, represented his child in receiving the contribution. His child is currently pursuing studies at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, Selangor. According to him, the assistance from Yayasan KETENGAH is very meaningful as it helps reduce the family's financial burden. “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Yayasan KETENGAH, especially to YBhg. Dato’ Rozi, for the concern and assistance provided. This contribution is very meaningful to us and helps to some extent in easing the family's financial burden,” he said.
Another recipient, Puan Noor Pipa binti Mamat, also expressed her gratitude for the assistance received. She, who works as a cleaner, said that the contribution helped somewhat with her child’s education expenses. She mentioned that after the passing of her husband about 10 years ago, she took on the responsibility as the head of the family and became the main pillar in supporting her children.
“Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah SWT. I extend my highest appreciation and thanks to Yayasan KETENGAH for the assistance rendered. This contribution is very meaningful to me. Thank you to YBhg. Dato’ Rozi and YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri for their concern for our plight,” she said. Her child is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Industrial Design) at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA).
The Yayasan KETENGAH Education Contribution Programme is one of the continuous initiatives implemented to help children from the KETENGAH region pursue higher education. This initiative not only aims to alleviate the financial burden of families but also demonstrates Yayasan KETENGAH's commitment to empowering human capital development that is educated, skilled, and competitive.
