August 30, 2026 – YAB Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW), today held a walkabout session at Laman Usahawan Desa @ MAHA 2026, which took place at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), Serdang. Also present were YB Datuk Hajah Rubiah binti Haji Wang, Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development, and YB Datuk Seri Haji Mohamad bin Sabu, Minister of Agriculture and Food Security.

During the session, YAB Deputy Prime Minister had the opportunity to visit the booths and personally observe the various products showcased by rural entrepreneurs, in addition to engaging with the entrepreneurs participating in Laman Usahawan Desa @ MAHA 2026. Also accompanying the walkabout session were YBhg. Dato’ Rozi bin Mamat, Chairman of the Central Terengganu Development Authority (KETENGAH), and YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH.

Laman Usahawan Desa @ MAHA 2026 serves as a strategic platform for introducing products by rural entrepreneurs, especially from rural communities. The participation of entrepreneurs through exhibitions like this not only opens up wider promotional opportunities but also allows them to introduce their products to a larger market and build business networks and strategic collaborations.
