KETENGAH Eco@Tourism Programme

27 June 2024: The KETENGAH Eco@Tourism Programme: Launch of Cashless Payments at Bukit Besi Museum, in collaboration with CIMB Bank Berhad, was held at Bukit Besi Museum, Dungun, Terengganu. The programme was officiated by Tuan Haji Ahmad Fakaruddin bin Ahmad, Deputy General Manager (Operations) of KETENGAH, representing YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH.
Bukit Besi Museum became the first venue in KETENGAH to introduce cashless services, including payments via QR code scanning, debit card, and transfers to KETENGAH CIMB accounts.
In addition to the cashless payment launch, a colouring contest was held, featuring two categories: Preschool/TABIKA KEMAS (ages 4–6) and Primary School (ages 7–8). The event involved 150 participants from TABIKA KEMAS Dun Bukit Besi—including Zamrud, Sri Intan, Sri Nilam, Besol, Delima, and Ladang Gajah Mati—as well as students from Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Besi. A total of 40 prizes were awarded to winners, with students from Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Besi topping both categories.
The colouring contest judging panel was led by YBhg To’ Puan Anizal binti Yusoff and included representatives from PUSPANITA KETENGAH Branch, Kolej KETENGAH Sdn. Bhd., and the KETENGAH Family Club.
Also in attendance were Puan Ruhaiza binti Ibrahim (Public Sector Director, CIMB), Encik Fikri bin Ngah (Representative of Terengganu State Museum Director), Encik Zulkifli bin Abd Ghani (Assistant District Education Officer, Dungun), Cik Nurul Athirah Muhammad (Chairperson, KEMAS Dun Bukit Besi), Encik Mohd Azmi bin Tawang (Senior Assistant of Administration, Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Besi), Tuan Haji Mohd Razali bin Mahmud (Chief Executive Officer, Kolej KETENGAH Sdn.
