YB DEPUTY MINISTER OF KKDW VISITS KETENGAH ENTREPRENEURS AT MAHA 2026

SERDANG, SEPTEMBER 1, 2026 – The Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Show (MAHA 2026) held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) continues to be lively with various activities and attractive draws for visitors.
On the fifth day of MAHA 2026, YB Datuk Hajah Rubiah binti Haji Wang, Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW), took the time to visit entrepreneurs participating in Laman Usahawan Desa @ MAHA 2026, accompanied by YBhg. Dato' Abdul Kahar bin Abdullah, Deputy Secretary-General (Policy) of KKDW.
During the visit, YB Deputy Minister of KKDW had the opportunity to mingle and greet the entrepreneurs, as well as try the products they produced and marketed.
A total of eight (8) KETENGAH-guided entrepreneurs also received a visit from YB Deputy Minister of KKDW, providing an opportunity for the entrepreneurs to introduce their products and share their experiences in growing their respective businesses. The visit also reflects KKDW's concern and continuous support for the development and empowerment of rural entrepreneurs, especially in efforts to expand markets and enhance the competitiveness of local products.
KETENGAH's participation in MAHA 2026 also serves as a strategic platform to showcase products from KETENGAH-guided entrepreneurs to the general public, while opening up opportunities for business networking, promotion, and wider market access.
September 1, 2026, also marked the last day of KETENGAH's involvement in MAHA 2026 to provide an opportunity for other agencies under KKDW to continue filling the Laman Usahawan Desa by featuring their respective entrepreneurs' products and produce.
KETENGAH will remain committed to empowering rural entrepreneurs through various development, guidance, promotion, and marketing initiatives in line with the Government's aspiration to strengthen the rural community's economy and improve the well-being of the people.
Also present to visit the entrepreneur booths were Tuan Haji Mahdi Amin bin Ahmad, Deputy General Manager (Operations) of KETENGAH, and KETENGAH Management.
