KEMAMAN, 22 September 2026 – KETENGAH continues to strengthen strategic relationships with stakeholders and the local community through the Mengeteh Programme, which serves as a casual interaction platform between KETENGAH management and community leaders and the local community.
The programme provides an opportunity for KETENGAH management to exchange views, hear suggestions, and obtain feedback regarding the development of activities and projects implemented in the area.
YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH, together with YBrs. Dr. Mohd. Zaki bin Salleh, Coordinator of JPKKP DUN Air Putih, also spent time mingling and listening to the views and suggestions conveyed by local community leaders.
During the same programme, the General Manager of KETENGAH also handed over a kayak trailer as a form of support for efforts to strengthen recreational and tourism activities based on natural resources in the KETENGAH region.
This facility is expected to help facilitate the transportation and handling of kayak equipment, thereby supporting the implementation of water recreational activities that have the potential to attract community participation and visitors.
The delegation also had the opportunity to visit the Pineapple Plantation Project in Kampung Teladas, which is one of the projects under the Integrated Village Economic Development Project (PROSPEK).
PROSPEK is one of the initiatives by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) together with KETENGAH in empowering communities through the development of potential economic activities, especially in entrepreneurship and agriculture.
The implementation of this project is hoped to open new economic opportunities for the community, increase productivity, and help produce more competitive entrepreneurs in the KETENGAH region.
KETENGAH will continue to strengthen cooperation and collaborative approaches with the community, related agencies, and stakeholders to ensure that every initiative implemented has an optimal impact on the socio-economic development and well-being of the community in the KETENGAH region.
