The Opening Ceremony of Kolej Ketengah Education Open Day, jointly organised with the Kemaman District Education Office, was held at the Dewan Orang Ramai (DORA), Bandar Seri Bandi, Kemaman, officiated by YBhg. Dato’ Seri (Dr.) Haji Ahmad bin Said, Chairman of KETENGAH. 🎓

During the ceremony, the Young Intellectual Tuition Program (ILMU) for the KETENGAH Region 2024 was also officially launched. The program comprises two components: Tuition for Key Subjects Empowerment for SPM and STPM students, and a Motivation Program.

The ILMU program is implemented in collaboration with the Terengganu State Education Department (JPNT), District Education Offices (PPD) of Dungun, Kemaman, Hulu Terengganu, and Kolej Ketengah Sdn. Bhd. A total of 16 secondary schools within the KETENGAH Region participated directly, involving 1,078 students, all of whom are SPM and STPM candidates for 2024.

A mock cheque of RM300,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Three Hundred Thousand Only) was presented by YBhg. the Chairman of KETENGAH to Tuan Haji Razali bin Mahmud, Chief Executive Officer of Kolej Ketengah Sdn. Bhd., and Encik Rosli bin Chik, Deputy Director (School Management Sector) of the Terengganu State Education Department. Management and staff of KETENGAH were also present at the event.

It is hoped that the implementation of the ILMU program will provide maximum benefits to all SPM and STPM candidates from schools within the KETENGAH Region who will be sitting for their examinations.
