The Signing Ceremony of the Sale and Purchase Agreement (FA) for the Contract Chili Plantation Farm between participants of the Rural Agriculture Pilot Program (Rintis Tani) and the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) was held at the Rintis Tani Fertigation Chili Plantation Project Site, KETENGAH Food Valley, Bandar Al Muktafi Billah Shah. 

The signing ceremony was witnessed by YBrs. Encik Zainuddin bin Haji Md. Zaki, Deputy General Manager (Development), KETENGAH, and YBrs. Encik Ahmad Rafiee bin Musa, Deputy Director (Operations), FAMA Terengganu. The event was also attended by officers from KETENGAH, FAMA, and the Dungun District Agriculture Department.

A total of 10,000 chili polybags were planted, with harvest expected in early November 2024, estimated at 20 metric tons.

The objectives of the FAMA Contract Farm program include ensuring market access and increasing producer income, enhancing crop production, and ensuring that agricultural products are of high quality and meet market requirements.
