WORK WITH INTEGRITY, SERVE WITH HEART, AND BUILD TOGETHER WITH THE PEOPLE

The event brought together all KETENGAH staff, including officers and employees of its subsidiaries, as a platform to communicate the organisation’s direction while strengthening teamwork in facing the challenges of the new year.
The programme began with the recitation of the Public Service Pledge as a symbol of the workforce’s commitment to trust, integrity, and responsibility in serving the public. This was followed by a video presentation highlighting the achievements of various KETENGAH development programmes and projects throughout 2025, reflecting the organisation’s continuous efforts to strengthen regional development and improve the well-being of local communities.
The ceremony continued with a welcoming address by YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH, followed by the 2026 New Year Address delivered by YBhg. Dato’ Rozi bin Mamat, Chairman of KETENGAH.
In his address, YBhg. Dato’ Rozi emphasised that KETENGAH is not merely a development agency but a trusted institution bearing great responsibility for regional development, community well-being, and the future of thousands of families within the KETENGAH region. He stressed that KETENGAH’s role is significant and must be translated into effective actions that deliver direct impact to the people.
He further underscored that KETENGAH’s presence must truly be felt by the public, not only through strategic plans, reports, or statistics, but through programmes and actions implemented on the ground.
According to him, the people should see KETENGAH as an agency that is always present when needed, listens to community voices and needs, and acts proactively in addressing local issues and challenges.
Accordingly, he called upon all KETENGAH staff to remain united, strengthen team cohesion, clarify the organisation’s direction, and boldly embrace change towards continuous improvement. This approach, he said, is vital to ensure that KETENGAH remains a respected and trusted development institution whose benefits are felt by communities across the region.
To reaffirm the organisation’s aspirations and direction for 2026, he urged all KETENGAH personnel to uphold the following pledge in carrying out their duties and responsibilities:
“Work with integrity, serve with heart, and develop together with the people.”
Also present at the event were the chairpersons of KETENGAH’s subsidiaries. The programme concluded with a collective recitation of blessings (selawat).
