AKRAB KETENGAH successfully won third place in the Best Booth Competition at the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) Psychology and AKRAB Symposium 2026 with a booth themed “Desa Pintar”.
The symposium, themed “Why AI? Why Not You: AI Answers, Humans Understand”, aimed to increase understanding of the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the psychological aspects and well-being of employees. The programme also emphasised empowering employees to positively, ethically, and healthily face technological changes, while strengthening the role of Psychology Officers and AKRAB in providing humanistic-value-based psychological support.
The programme was officiated by Dato’ Seri Suriani binti Dato’ Ahmad, Secretary-General of KKDW, and served as a platform for sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices in strengthening psychological well-being and human capital development in public service.
At the same event, Puan Norliza binti Mohd. Nor also received recognition for her contributions and achievements. Meanwhile, Encik Kamil bin Ramli received the Best Mentor award, and Encik Muhammad Fikri Ashraf bin Hasmadi received the Best Mentee award.
The AKRAB KETENGAH booth featured various craft products and traditional games such as congkak, Musang Berjanggut, and jentik getah. This content not only highlighted the uniqueness of local art, culture, and heritage but also provided an opportunity for visitors to learn about and appreciate traditional games that are part of the community's identity.
Also present was YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH, who also supported AKRAB KETENGAH’s involvement in the programme.
This achievement is hoped to inspire AKRAB KETENGAH members to continue strengthening their role as peer facilitators and supporting the creation of a positive, healthy, and resilient work environment.
