SMART KAFA CAMP STRENGTHENS UPKK PREPARATION FOR YEAR 5 STUDENTS

The Al-Quran and Fardu Ain Classes (KAFA) were established to strengthen religious education among children, particularly in mastering Quranic recitation and Fardu Ain knowledge. KAFA plays a significant role in shaping an understanding of worship and the foundations of religious practice from a young age. The KAFA syllabus also forms a core component of the Kelas KAFA Assessment Test (UPKK), which will be taken by Year 5 Muslim students nationwide in mid-November 2025.
In line with this, the KETENGAH Family Club, in collaboration with KETENGAH, Kolej KETENGAH, and the KAFA Educators Association of Kemaman District, organised the SMART KAFA Camp from 10 to 11 October 2025 at Kolej KETENGAH. The programme involved 60 students, guided by 11 experienced instructors.
The camp’s closing ceremony was officiated by Tuan Haji Ahmad Fakaruddin Ahmad, Deputy General Manager (Operations) of KETENGAH and President of the KETENGAH Family Club. Also present were Tuan Haji Mahdi Amin bin Ahmad, Senior Manager (Corporate) of KETENGAH, and Encik Wan Shahrul Nizam Wan Shafi’i, Honorary Secretary of Kelab 3K.
Participants received certificates of participation, learning materials, and equipment in preparation for the UPKK. The closing event was filled with joy as the students departed with renewed enthusiasm and confidence to face the examination.
