BUKIT BESI, DUNGUN 23 October 2026 – The official opening of the Bukit Besi Heritage Festival 2026 was officiated by Tuan Haji Mohd Radzi bin Md Noor, Deputy General Manager (Development) of KETENGAH, representing the General Manager of KETENGAH.

The programme, organised by Koperasi Majlis Perbandaran Dungun (KOPEDU) in collaboration with KETENGAH, took place at Tasik Puteri, Bukit Besi, to showcase the uniqueness of local art, culture, and heritage, while strengthening community involvement in preserving local heritage treasures.

Various exciting activities await you, including the Raja Lambat Challenge for motorcycles and bicycles, the BB Boat Race remote-controlled boat competition, batik canting activity Canting & Chill, Blind Bite Challenge, local artist performances, and magic shows.

Also held were the Brisk Walk activity, a tour of historical locations via Bas Bukit Besi Heritage, Colour Battle Cilik Edition, and sales by various vendors offering products and goods to visitors.

The organisation of the Bukit Besi Heritage Festival 2026 not only provides a space for the community to enjoy recreational and cultural activities but also has the potential to boost the tourism sector and generate economic opportunities for local entrepreneurs.

This initiative reflects KETENGAH's continuous efforts in supporting community development and promoting the tourism potential of the KETENGAH Region, especially Bukit Besi, as a destination rich in historical, cultural, and heritage value.
