Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Workshop 2024 Terengganu State Rural Community Centre

The Central Terengganu Development Authority (KETENGAH), through the Information and Communication Technology Development Division (BPTMK), was entrusted by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) to monitor and manage the Rural Community Centre Empowerment Programme (PKD), specifically the Skills Training and Human Capital Development Programme component for 2024.
For this purpose, a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Workshop was held from 21 to 23 July 2024, involving 31 PKD Managers as well as officers and staff from KETENGAH’s Information and Communication Technology Development Division (BPTMK). The workshop took place at Warisan Pahlawan Resort (21–22 July 2024) and on a houseboat at Tasik Kenyir (22–23 July 2024).
Also present were Mr. Hazroll Eizwal bin Jasni, Manager of Information and Communication Technology Development at KETENGAH, along with two invited speakers: Y.M Raja Nazrin bin Raja Ahmad, Assistant Secretary of the Rural Community Division, KKDW, and Mr. Ridwan Shah bin Bandu, Community Development Manager of the Sabah State Land Development Board, who conducted knowledge-sharing sessions on PKD management.
Among the topics discussed were “Empowering Communities through Rural Social and Economic Development” by Y.M Raja Nazrin bin Raja Ahmad and “From Hero to Zero” by Mr. Ridwan Shah bin Bandu.
In addition, all participants were taken on a tour of Tasik Kenyir and visited several locations including the Herbal Park and Lasir Waterfall.
Participants also had the opportunity to engage in recreational activities such as fishing and kayaking. The visit aimed to introduce KETENGAH’s ecotourism products while promoting Tasik Kenyir as a prime destination for various activities.
Sincere appreciation is extended to all participants involved. It is hoped that the knowledge and insights shared throughout the programme will be beneficial in the management of Rural Community Centres in the State of Terengganu.
