24 AUGUST 2026 | DUNGUN - Kampung Dendang, Dungun has been approved by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) as a MADANI Adopted Village (KAM) under the supervision of the Central Terengganu Development Board (KETENGAH).

This initiative is implemented through a Whole of Government (WoG) approach by mobilising cooperation from various government agencies to ensure that community needs and problems can be addressed comprehensively and provide a direct impact on the community.

Also approved was the nomination of Sekolah Kebangsaan Dendang as KETENGAH's MADANI Adopted School (SAM), thus extending the benefits of this initiative to the educational development and local youth.

In connection with this, KETENGAH General Manager, YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, together with KETENGAH management, visited the village and school to observe the current situation and review proposed projects to be implemented through the Kampung Angkat MADANI (KAM) and Sekolah Angkat MADANI (SAM) allocations.

During the visit, he also observed the residents' 'gotong-royong' activities cleaning the mosque area in preparation for the Maulidur Rasul celebration tonight.

This spirit of togetherness and active community involvement reflects the strength of the Kampung Dendang community in jointly making the village development agenda a success.
