KETENGAH COURTESY VISIT TO JPNT STRENGTHENS STRATEGIC RELATIONS

KUALA TERENGGANU, August 24, 2026 – The Central Terengganu Development Board (KETENGAH) today paid a courtesy visit to the Terengganu State Tourism Department (JPNT) in an effort to strengthen strategic relations and explore areas of cooperation to empower the tourism sector in the KETENGAH Region.
The KETENGAH delegation, led by YBrs. Tuan Haji Mahdi Amin bin Ahmad, Deputy General Manager (Operations) of KETENGAH, along with 10 officers, was welcomed by Yang Mulia Dato’ Tengku Mohd Arifin bin Tengku A. Rahman, Director of JPNT.
The courtesy visit served as a strategic platform for both agencies to exchange views and discuss potential collaborations in strengthening the development and promotion of the tourism sector, especially involving areas in the KETENGAH Region.
Among the matters given attention were efforts to empower existing tourism products and destinations, enhance promotion strategies, and expand cooperation networks with industry players, related agencies, and local communities.
Closer cooperation between KETENGAH and JPNT is believed to create synergy in the development of competitive tourism products and provide added value to the local economy and community well-being.
This initiative is in line with KETENGAH's aspiration to continue strengthening strategic cooperation with various parties in generating inclusive, sustainable regional development that benefits the people.
