AJIL, May 28, 2026 – The Central Terengganu Development Board (KETENGAH) continues to strengthen fraternal relations with the community through the organisation of the KETENGAH Muhibbah Korban Programme with the Hulu Terengganu Community, held at the Kampung Tok Dor Community Field in conjunction with Aidiladha 1447H.

The programme, based on the spirit of togetherness and the appreciation of Islamic teachings, involved the participation of KETENGAH officers, staff, and the local community, with a total of seven (7) cows sacrificed.

Of this number, one (1) cow was specifically allocated for distribution to approximately 300 recipients from among the asnaf (deserving recipients) around the KETENGAH Region, Hulu Terengganu.

The programme, which ran from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, showcased a high spirit of gotong-royong (communal cooperation) as participants collectively carried out the slaughtering, butchering, weighing, and distributing of the sacrificial meat to eligible recipients.

The General Manager of KETENGAH, YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, was also present to engage with participants and staff, further enlivening the spirit of goodwill throughout the programme.

Also present were YM Tengku Mahari bin Tengku Chik, Member of the KETENGAH Board of Directors, along with the management team, officers, and staff of KETENGAH.

The programme also received close cooperation from JPKKP Hulu Terengganu and JPKKP Kampung Tok Dor as hosts, ensuring the smooth running of the event.

The organisation of this programme reflects KETENGAH's continuous commitment to fulfilling social responsibilities through community welfare, while strengthening relations between government agencies and the local community.

In addition to performing the Korban ritual, the programme also serves as a platform to foster values of unity, cooperation, and togetherness towards the formation of a harmonious and caring civil society.
