KETENGAH ENLIVENS THE VISIT MALAYSIA YEAR 2026 CAMPAIGN AT KKDW MONTHLY ASSEMBLY

KETENGAH was once again given the opportunity to present a special performance at the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) Monthly Assembly for June 2026, which was officiated by YAB Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister cum Minister of Rural and Regional Development.
On this occasion, KEMAS was appointed as the organiser and also presented a performance. KETENGAH showcased a sketch titled “Mike Returns”, which was a continuation of last year's performance.
The sketch tells the story of Mike returning to Malaysia with three friends to explore the beauty of Tasik Kenyir. This performance is timely with the celebration of Visit Malaysia Year 2026, promoting Tasik Kenyir as a premier tourist destination and highlighting the unique heritage, culture, and rural community life around the lake.
This performance not only entertained the attendees but also served as a creative promotional medium to introduce tourism products and natural treasures found in the KETENGAH region to KKDW staff and its agencies.
YAB Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said, "I see efforts such as those implemented by KETENGAH through the Food Valley Project, commercial pineapple cultivation, broiler chicken farming, and food chain development as examples of approaches that should be expanded."
The assembly also saw the launch of the KEMAS Strategic Plan 2026–2030, which will serve as a guide for the next five years.
Also present at the event were YBhg Dato' Rozi bin Mamat, Chairman of KETENGAH, YM Dato' Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH, and the KETENGAH Management team.
Congratulations to the entire KETENGAH team who worked tirelessly to make the “Mike Returns” performance a success and to uphold the organisation's name in promoting rural tourism for Visit Malaysia Year 2026.
