KAMPUNG DENDANG, DUNGUN, August 24, 2026 – The Central Terengganu Development Authority (KETENGAH) organised an Islamic Knowledge Event in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul Celebration 1448H/2026M in Kampung Dendang, Dungun, to commemorate the birth of the great Prophet Muhammad SAW and to foster a deeper appreciation for his life and character.

The event received an encouraging response from the local residents, with the mosque's prayer hall filled with congregants who attended the lecture delivered by YH Dato’ Dr. Haji Badli Shah bin Haji Alauddin, Deputy Mufti of Pahang. Also present were YM Dato’ Tengku Ahmad Nadzri bin Tengku Musa, General Manager of KETENGAH, along with KETENGAH management and staff, and local residents.

In his lecture, YH Dato’ Dr. Haji Badli Shah emphasised the importance of strengthening brotherhood (ukhuwah) among the community. According to him, building good relationships does not require significant capital but can start with simple daily practices.

“Building ukhuwah does not require much capital. Follow these four things: first, smile when you meet people; second, call people by good names; third, when sitting together in a gathering, always joke around; and fourth, if disagreements occur, forgive each other.”

During the same event, the General Manager of KETENGAH also presented a replica cheque worth RM10,000 to the Chairman of Kampung Dendang Mosque as a contribution to assist with the mosque's needs and efforts to enliven it.

The organisation of this event reflects KETENGAH's commitment to supporting holistic community development, including spiritual aspects, strengthening ukhuwah, and the well-being of the local community.
