KETENGAH has completed the upgrading project of the surau at Kampung Besul Lama, Bandar Bukit Besi, Dungun, Terengganu. The upgrading works commenced on 18 August 2025 and were fully completed on 7 December 2025, over a period of 16 weeks.

The project was implemented to enhance the comfort of the local community in performing religious activities, as well as to serve as a Temporary Evacuation Centre (PPS) for flood victims during the Northeast Monsoon (NEM) 2025/2026. The upgraded surau is now able to accommodate up to 250 beneficiaries from Kampung Besul Lama and Kampung Rantau Panjang, Bukit Besi, Dungun.

It is hoped that this facility will continue to benefit the local residents and the wider KETENGAH community.
